Lesson 4

In this lesson, children learn that when two or more straight lines cross and share a vertex, it creates vertically opposite angles. Children use this knowledge, and their understanding of angles on a straight line and angles around a point to help them solve missing angles. There is a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.
