Lesson 2

In this lesson, children use their knowledge of right angles to find the angles in a straight line and around a point. Children make links between, quarter, half, three-quarter and full turns and the associated angles. They will apply their knowledge of angles to different contexts such as time and compass directions. There is a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.
