Lesson 8

In this lesson, children subtract fractions where denominators are not multiples of the same number. Children will learn how to subtract mixed number fractions and will be shown how to convert into improper fractions to make it easier to subtract. There is a teaching presentation and differentiated resources with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem solving questions.
