Lesson 7

In this lesson, children add mixed numbers. They will build upon their learning from previous steps to add fractions with different denominators. Children will use two different methods, and begin to consider which one is better depending on the size of the fractions. There is a teaching presentation and differentiated resources with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem solving questions.
